作为安全治理人员如何才能算是称职

清醒、理智是很重要的,公司的完善治理也固然重要

What is a good safety management personnel?

From the point of view of boss, he/ she should prevent all accidents- zero accident rate and keep costs as low as possible.

From the point of view of himself/ herself, he/ she should prevent accidents as low as possible.

I think different groups of people have different points of view. No single conclusion...

我觉得沟通能力很重要,因为作为一名安全治理人员应当知道,安全工作不是我们一个人做好就可以保证没事的,重要的是公司各方面的支持,我们扮演的角色更多的是监督作用。如何将安全工作做到位又不引起大家的抵触情绪,也是很重要的。

Prevention of accidents as low as possible is a very board terms.... it, of course, includes what Cicero said... Identification of hazards, risk assessment and risk control. If I elaborate it right here, severial pages are not adequate... hehe.... also dont neglect 'as low as possible' which is something like as far as reasonably practicable... it is a risk control theory... ALARP... if you are interested, you can search this philosophy on internet. This philosophy has been widely adopted in developed countries.
